FIRST SHOWING AT

The film has been screened at HCA's media center both yesterday and today alongside other works such as Kaz Szostak's "Everyone loves Brownie" and Dave Jones's "Particles of Him".
While I'm on the subject, I'm going to say congrats to Dave Jones if and when you're reading this cause "Particles of Him" was pretty damn good to say the least!

Anyway, the film itself was relatively satisfactory but the sound was a little low on both "Coming Home" and my previous project "Jack O' Kent". I should have checked it earlier. However, I'm going to make sure that it's sorted by Monday evening. Despite that, both are reasonably watchable.

Once it's run at Hereford is over, I'm going to put it online.

Heading towards final showing

The project is now complete and is nearly ready to be shown. However, the export didn't quite work properly according to Nick Brown so I'm going to speak to him today about it. I'm not sure if I didn't export properly.

Anyways, its all going towards the final showing...though maybe I should consider organising another screening elsewhere in the future?...food for thought.

Anyway, maybe I should update the Jack O' Kent blog as that will be going onto the final showreel as well (so finally it's being shown SOMEWHERE!)

Complete!

The film is now complete in the form of a final cut. Unfortunately, I had very little time to update since the edit was going by a tight schedule and I wasn't prepared to let it go awry in any way. Consequently, the edit was as smooth as the shoot itself (albeit without someone falling into a hidden drainage ditch!).

I have just handed the final cut into James for submission. I recon that there may be some room for a little fine tuning for the final show but this is more perfectionism than anything else.

The trailer will be online in the future (near future) as will everything else but the film will have to wait until the summer show is over.

It seems a little anticlimactic but I can safely say the following three words;

watch this space!
