While I may have everything else almost under my belt, there is a big gaping problem that is raising its head.
I have an actress for the daughter Esme and it looks likely that I have an actress for the wife Sylvia in the form of Laura Edgill, I haven't got an actor for Guy (even though it looked almost certain)
Richard da Costa has pulled out due to scheduling problems (something which his agent highlighted for me a while ago). He has expressed his regret for not being able to join the shoot. I fully understand as his schedule - which he described to me yesterday - sounded very full.
Of course, it would be easy to point fingers and tell me that I'm leaving things too late. I'm not. I've been trying to get actors for the past couple of months.
Of course, I have backup plans but it's proving to be fairly frustrating. I only hope that Laura can give me a definite yes as soon as possible.
